Construction Engineer at PTTEPI for Zawtika project in SMOE fabrication yard – Singapore,
Since 22nd April 2013 – 30th April 2014.
Working at PTTEPI as client representative for reviewing critical activity (weighing, jacking, lifting, loadout) procedure and make sure contractor is doing their works based on project specification and also respond for any structural technical queries.

Furthermore, to review all of design drawings, shop drawings until as built drawings (for structural) and made necessary comment to make sure CONTRACTOR is delivering drawing in good result.

Assigned at offshore for completion of outstanding job at onshore and acting as inspector coordinator (structure, piping, E&I, architect, and painting)

Zawtika project that fabricates in SMOE yard is CPP with weight NTE 15000 MT, including 1500 MT LQM and 500 MT Flare.

Lead Construction Engineer at McDermott Batam Fabrication yard – Indonesia
Since 13th June 2008 –21st April 2013.
I have been assigned as Lead Engineer with two engineers as my sub-ordinate for MAERSK-PEREGRINO Project. It is FPSO project with 10 modules of fabrication, with the heaviest module approximately 1500 MT weight.

In the first week of January 2010, I have been assigned also for Chevron LQ Top side, Module, and Jacket. Therefore in the same time I’m working in two projects. I have four engineers as my sub-ordinate to help me handle these projects and finished successfully.

Continued, in October 2010 until April 2013 I have been assigned for Vetco Gray-GE Subsea Gorgon Upstream project, which is a phased development of the Gorgon and Jansz fields. The development is based on subsea production and control equipment with a single multiphase pipeline from each field. The two fields will be tied back to the shore facility at Barrow Island by individual static umbilical. The design will provide for future tie-in of compression facilities. Design life will be 50 years for non-replaceable structures.

My main responsibilities as Lead Construction Engineer are as follows:

 To have knowledge and skill as senior engineer, to advice junior engineer related with job issues (codes, cranes, etc.)

 Meet Procedure deliverables schedule that have been agreed with project

 Responsible for coordinate, supervise, and manage team of construction engineers, to meet procedure deliverable schedule and well executed during execution

 Man hour and man power estimation for the whole project

 Assist bidding

 Assist sub-ordinate to meet the productivity less than 1

 Make sure the project is executed with the most effective method that can cause less time consumption and less cost impact

Construction Engineer at McDermott Batam fabrication yard -Indonesia,

My responsibilities as Construction Engineer (CE) at McDermott are as follows:

 Design spreaderbar, temporary support, padeye, tieback,etc (based on ASD and API standard).

 Responsible for critical lifting (weight over 100 MT) procedure, for example stacking module, roll-up Jacket Bent, roll-up and lifting horizontal panel for jacket, etc.

 Responsible for mooring line, pulling system, and ballast analysis for loadout.

 Study for construct ability of jacket or deck for bidding.

 Responsible for transportation of module.

 Determining crane arrangement for stacking, roll-up, etc.

 Determining rigging arrangement for stacking, roll-up, etc.

 Design pressure vessel for internal use.

Standard/Code that has been used as CE:

1. API RP 2A-WSD :for designing fabrication sequence of jacket (Tubular member and joint connection stress check), etc.

2. AISC ASD :for designing I beam structural member, welding design, etc.

3. DNV :rules for marine operation, standard for loadout

4. ASME VIII DIV.1 :for designing pressure vessel.

5. ASME B.30 Series

During working at Mcdermott I have meet several trainings and act as inspector for several cranes, they are as follow:

 Training for Wire Rope Inspector in accordance with American Specifications and Recommendations, achieve level 1

 Training Introduction on Base Material and its Code/ Specification

 Training for Pressure Vessel Inspector

 Inspector for Tadano cranes (hydraulic cranes)

 Inspector for Liebher cranes (crawler cranes)

 

HEAVY LIFTING EXPERIECE

 Roll up loaded bent of STV Jacket with approximate weight 1000 MT. Utilizing 3 nos cranes (1 no. Lampson and 2 nos A1320 SH)

 Lifting pancake of module with varies of weight (above 100 MT) utilizing 1 or more cranes. Multi lifting cranes with or without spreader bar

 Flip over loaded bent of Platong Gas 2 LQ Jacket utilizing 8 cranes with weight approximately 800 MT ( Lampson, A1320SH, LR-1750, M4100)

 Flip over Subsea foundation with weight approximately 300 MT utilizing 3 nos cranes (1 no Lampson and 2 nos LR-1750)

 

LOADOUT EXPERIECE

 Loadout by skidding method, whether utilizing winches or strand jack as pulling devices. Project that being involved: STV Jacket loadout, Platong Gas 2 LQ loadout, Zawtika CPP Platform

 Loadout by trailer. Utilizing multi axles SPMT trailer for the loadout. Project that being involved: Maersk FPSO module loadout

 Loadout by lifting. Utilizing land crane or sheer leg crane barge for the loadout. Project that being involved: Platong Gas 2 LQ Jacket loadout.
