• Handling & Managing more than 30 QA/QC Engineers from various disciplines during design and procurement phase of project

• Conducting supplier quality& capability assessment before placing an order and also conducting audit for one time approval from Saudi Aramco as per Schedule ‘Q’.

• Supervision of Multi discipline Senior Inspectors about 15 to 25

• Report to Supervisor/Senior Supervisor. Reporting Inspection status and Highlights to the Management.

• Prepare/Review of Weekly Reports, Weekly Highlights, Project Quality Dash Board, Monthly Management Quality Report and Project Quality Index

• Represent in Contractor Quality Meetings.

• Provides technical support to Project Management in resolving problems concerning inspection methods and procedures of completing work within the scope and intent of applicable codes and standards. Liaison with Contractor QA/QC Key personnel.

Since Jan 2009 to Dec 2009 worked as a Vendor Inspector (Mechanical) & Expeditor with SGS Inspection Services, Saudi Arabia for various Saudi Aramco & Sabic Projects

• Review of purchase order(s) inspection assignment packages

• Review requisitions and purchase orders for compliance with contract requirements

• Execute Pre-inspection meeting with client & manufacturer by explaining the quality requirement at manufacturer’s location.

• Review and approval of Inspection and Test Plan after discussion with client.

• Inspection on Static equipment’s like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Air coolers, Storage Tanks, Safety Relief Valves, Valves (Check, Globe, Ball & Gate) and Raw Material, etc

• Carry out the stage wise inspection as per the approved ITP.

• Review of various documents like MTC, WPS, PQR, NDT proce & reports and review of final MDR.

• Procurement of raw material and to check mill test Certificates.

• Checking the heat number and WPS

• Preparation of WPS and PQR and to conduct welder qualification

• Making vacuum test for weld leak in base plate of storage tanks

• Preparation of hydro test package and carry out the hydro test in front of client authorized personnel.
