Indian Based Senior Network Specialist

Currently employed with AXA Technologies Shared Services based out of Bangalore as Senior Network Specialist (TelePresence) joined on Aug 2012

New Role involves me in:

• CUCM hardware upgrade from 7.1.3 to 8.6,
• Deploying 4 Clustered VCS-E for AXA Tech globally,
• Jabber on IPAD POC over InterOp & deployment.
• Tandberg HD VC units to VCS-C as H.323 end points.
• Deploying TMS 13.2.1.
• Upgraded CTS-Man from 1.7 to 1.9.x
• Migration of CTS-Man from Exchange 2003 to 2010 in progress.
• Upgrading TelePresence Server MCS 8710 from 2.2 to 2.3
• Creating neighbourship with Polycom CMA controller with VCS-C in UK region for polycom endpoints to enable InterOp capability.
• Building standalone light weight Video infra for CEE region (Design & implementation)

• Deploying new CTS end points on group countries & coordinating with the onsite engineer to configure QOS/COS on the Local LAN /WAN devices.
• Conducting RRA (Room readiness Assessment) VSAA (Video SLA Assessment Agent) & NPA (Network path assessment).
• Coordinate with Cisco Installation team & configure the CTS end points on CUCM & CTM.
• Providing trainings to the Stake holders/end users & obtaining acceptance reports.
• Supporting user queries, analyze WAN/LAN issues, Video quality / call drop issues, troubleshoot based on the user inputs & Codec logs & take necessary actions to fix the issue.
• Troubleshooting Booking issues & analyzing the restrictions on the generic mailbox integrated with CTS.
• Providing design & proposing Firewall changes to group country engineers to allow EX90’s to register from different countries over internet as these units does not support over proxy.
• Generate User guides based on the different connecting scenarios & train the Director EA’s for interoperability connections.
• Upgrade Telepresence core devices.
• Uploading new templates on TMS for latest versions of EX90’s / MOVI’s to enable provisioning & management features.
• Create Inter-op bridges on MCU & remotely connect end points based on VIP requests.
• Managing & Supporting 150 Ex90’s, 300 Movi clients, 55 CTS endpoints across 12 countries in Tesco estate.
• Raise TAC case with Cisco for hardware faults which is beyond our support boundary scenarios.
• Closely Monitor & support Multipoint Board Director Telepresence calls.
  

• Directly responsible for overall stores network (LAN/WAN) setup for US infrastructure serving more than 150 stores for Fresh & Easy division.
• Responsible for wireless Lan controller management, support & troubleshooting in US Distribution center

• Since there was no Booking mechanism available for TP bridges I have proposed & implemented bridge booking over Outlook by registering dummy CTS & forward all to TP Bridge.
• All alone moved CTS unit within a day & brought live on new network.
