Short Bio:

I graduated with Bachelors Degree (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia. My internship experience from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Production Plant has enabled me to gain exposure to automotive industry particularly in production engineering. I am currently working in Accenture Malaysia as Senior Software Engineer. My first project was with Royal Dutch Shell in Business Assist Engineering & SMART project, in which i gained experience in project management.

Role : Engineering Support Analyst
• Accenture was consulted to define and develop support architecture and technical blueprint for the client’s Engineering Services Delivery and SMART Solutions deployment for Upstream Capital Projects domain.
• Assess current state, identify client’s requirements, develop functional specifications and implement engineering solutions for all Engineering & SMART applications such as Primavera P6, Assai, Smart Plant Foundation and etc.
• Prepare and co-ordinate project planning, reporting scheduling, technical review to ensure compliance to client’s standards and specifications.
• Schedule and preside over meetings with cross-functional project teams and consultants as well as internal meetings to resolve project issues and technical problems.
• Responsible for Change Management of all Engineering & SMART application supported by Global Engineering Support Team.
• Execute project task with minimal supervision and regularly report progress to Team Lead and Project Manager.
• Subject Matter Expert, SME for SMART Solutions Platform such as SmartConnect and Well Operating Envelope Tool.
• Involved in Primavera project planning deployment for Shell Todd Oil Services, New Zealand. Responsible to provide planning and scheduling support to Global Planning Toolset, GPT Team at various stage gates through preparation of schedule updates, progress monitoring and controls, data compilation and presentation to generate report.
• Successfully executed Engineering Support Domestication Project for Nigeria Engineering Assist Desk in Shell Nigeria Exploration Production Company, SNEPCo.
• Trained a new support team in Accenture India as part of support transition to managed service. Training included all 103 supported applications, operations and management of Global Engineering Support team.
• Conducted Knowledge Transfer (KT) of 8 applications to Global Upstream and Downstream Engineering Support teams, consisting of 12 analysts which resulted in improved service delivery and reduced ‘run and maintain’ costs.
• Involved in deployment and onboarding of 5 new Engineering & SMART applications to Global Engineering Support team for Shell Global Solutions.
• Onboarded Identity Management System, IMS to all Prime and Essential Service Tier Engineering applications in accordance to Shell Information Risk Management, IRM’s new control framework.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Production Plant – Pekan, Pahang
• Benefited the department by developing a just-in-time Floor Mat Inventory system using Visual Basic for Application, resulting in cost savings of RM 50,000 a year.
• Investigated safety and security measures to implement in order to enforce safety, avoid damages and improve quality of vehicles at VPC, via VPC Road Upgrading Project.
• Optimized the assembly line for passenger cars by performing line-balancing, eliminating bottlenecks and reducing takt-time to meet production goal for production year of 2012.
• Designed, prepared technical drawing and monitored VPC Extension Project until completion whilst submitting daily progress report to Head of Department.
• Scheduled and conducted review sessions at department for damage and defect root cause analysis.
• Prepared Delivery Summary and Quality Trend Summary report for Management on a daily basis.
