Review & Approve Contractor’s submitted planning package in-accordance with contract and company’s established procedures. To update and maintain systems and procedures relating to Planning & Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting and other Project control requirements etc. consistent with the Company requirements. Preparation of PCS for Projects and providing inputs for MPU. Project scope management, verification and control, Project Time Management, schedule development and control, Project Procurement Management through procurement planning. Verification and endorsement of monthly physical progress claimed by the Contractors for payment purposes. To provide necessary inputs to the Cost Control Engineers to facilitate preparation of annual budgets and to provide necessary inputs / justifications for schedule variations as required.
Integrate change control, Evaluate change requests / Claims for extension of project schedules made by Contractors, analyse the impact on Scope and Time etc… and prepare appropriate recommendations to Management for approval. Consolidating scheduling information for analysis or reporting, Review periodically the Schedule Risk Analysis along with the mitigation measures, ensure timely implementation of all agreed migration measures. Schedule performance evaluation and forecasting using Earned value management and Forecasting methods like SV, SPI, CV, CPI, TCPI and EAC etc…from commencement to project completion will be conducted by reviewing problems and trends and analysing their impact on the work schedule.

Nominating Construction coordinator and team to handle projects. Highlight potential delays and problems or hold ups, follow up with coordinators on project status. Manpower planning for the division using WER. Working with M/s. JGC as Planning Engineer / Schedule Control Engineer for the JUBAIL CHEVRON PHILLIPS PROJECT (EPC for Integrated Styrene Facility at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia).
Monitoring & controlling the project, Monitoring of the Engineering and Procurement documents and control reports preparing. Analysing the effect of EP status to construction. Tracking the progress against scheduled program of work, Preparing Look-ahead schedule, Updating the schedule, Preparation of Man-hour control reports, Preparation of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports, Preparing resource histograms, Quantitative curves, S-curves and different graphs. Weekly progress meeting with Contractor and preparation of Minutes of meeting. Preparation of micro plans. Preparing revised Schedules / recovery plan etc. Analyzing the construction Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Forecasting trends for management review and action, in order to ensure a project is completed on time and with in budget. Follow-up with Engineering to ensure availability of all documents and relevant information to support contractor and field engineering requirements. 1. GTC 101/ED/04 – EPIC, Fire and Gas Detection / Protection and Safety Upgrades in Dukhan Fields.
2. GTC187/ED/03 – New instrument air compressor in PWI stations.
3. Construction of 16” Pipeline from Jaleha to Diyab for SNAMPROGETTI.
Responsible for Monitoring & Controlling the multi disciplined projects, Tracking the progress against scheduled program of work, Preparing Look-ahead schedule, Updating the schedule, Preparation of Manhour -control / Productivity reports, Forecasting the manpower and resources for the project based on the current status of the project. I worked with M/S. S.B.G for their expansion cum shutdown project with M/s. Yanbu Petrochemicals (SABIC – Yanpet); I was in Ethylene glycol plant. Responsible for the controlling and monitoring of project including Piping and Equipments such as heat exchangers, vessels, columns, filters, accumulators, condensers, boilers, tanks, valves etc. Tracking the progress against scheduled program of work, Preparing Look-ahead schedule, updating the schedule, Co-ordination between client, company and sub contractor.
Coordinate and carry out shutdown activities according to planned schedule. Preparing daily progress reports, Coordinate daily project meetings and updating scheduled program of works. Prepare and final submission of whole shutdown status reports for future reference.
