Execute daily Inspection and reporting as per approved QCP/ITPs. Supervise the fabrication activities in relation to fit-up, tack weld, joint surface cleanness. Pre-heat / inter-pass maintenance, adherence of weaving width, heat input and root inspection meets the applicable code specification or standard. Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with codes and standards. Check the storage, segregation and preservation of piping material.

Conduct detailed study of isometric drawings, P&ID drawings, and GA diagrams and check material specification.

Supervise and control fabrication and erection activities of CS, SS, and GRE pipes to maintain compliance with contract specification, codes and approved drawings. Witness the heat tint inspection for SS welds. Inspect pipe joints, support assemblies and final dimensional inspections as per approved drawings and standards.

Carry out hydro tests and reinstatement line walks, punch list clearance and monitor the flange management. Witness the flushing, Hydro and pneumatic test, drying, reinstatement, pigging, chemical cleaning and He/N2 system leak tests are complying with all specification and safety requirements.

Review the Test Packs and generate QC Inspection/ Release reports. Assist in reviewing projects drawings and specifications for compliance with the standards. Monitor and ensure compliance with critical control points of the process to achieve planned results.

Ensure valid calibration for all equipment at site. Ensure proper collation, endorsement and compiling of all quality documentation and inspection reports and retention till completion of project. Notify non-conformances detected during site inspections and recommend corrective measures. Provide sufficient feed back to QA/QC Engineers on day to day quality issues.
