Short Bio:

•Over 30 years’ experience in a wide variety of engineering roles.
•Experience with troubleshooting diesel and electrically driven power packs, (Zone rated for offshore use), hydraulics (open and closed loop circuits) and electrics including 3 phase motors up to 63 kW.
• Working knowledge of Siemens and ifm controllers as well as intrinsically safe circuitry.
•Compex trained
•Experience of welding using mig, tig, arc and oxy/act and good all round mechanical skills including pneumatics, pipe fitting, pressure testing and hydraulic flushing experience.
•Experience in dealing with a large variety of different engineering problems both on and offshore as well as assisting field personnel (offshore /Africa/Europe) whenever necessary
•Used to working in a high pressure environment where there is a strong need to avoid lost time incidents without compromising safety.
•Computer literate and am familiar with the Microsoft suite, used extensively to compile check sheets, maintenance records and spare parts lists.
