Short Bio:

Heavy Plant Operative in the
Mining Industry. I have wide knowledge of and experience in large civil projects, from roads, highways and major
earth works, to civil defence projects and warehousing. I therefore believe that I possess the skills and vital
experience necessary to make a solid and immediate contribution to your operation. I am available to start my
next role immediately.
As you will note , I have 25 years’ experience in the construction and civil engineering
industry, specialising in the operation and maintenance of 360 excavators.
I am now looking to return to the mining industry to use and build on my strong experience. I am particularly
interested in relocating to Australia or Asia, and can move at very short notice, so I would be delighted if I could be
considered for any current opportunities in these regions.
I am also keen to work towards industry-related qualifications to support my career progression.

• Responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing in residential, commercial and industrial buildings

2005 – 2009 K ROUSE CIVILS – 360 Heavy Plant Operative

• Operating and maintaining to a high standard 360 excavators on construction sites, and reporting any defects to the site managers as appropriate

• Responsible for digging deep drainage ditches up to 8 metres in depth, batters and large excavations in accordance with strict measurement requirements

• Successfully excavating large areas of land measuring hundreds of meters width and a depth of up to 30 meters

• Using a steel guillotine, rock breaking and crushing, filling, piling, grading, demolition and efficient spoil removal

2004 – 2005 ONTREPOSE PIPE LINE – 360 Heavy Plant Operative

• Operating a 36 ton Komatsu excavator in pipeline fields and removing spoil efficiently working to stringent safety standards

• Digging thrust pits on roadsides, riversides, by railway lines and alongside services, and excavating batters of up to 8 metres deep, 50 metres wide and 100 metres in length

• Placing pile jacking machines and laying 11 metre lengths of 48” gas piping in excavations in line with project requirements

• Operating and maintaining to a high standard 360 excavators on construction sites, and reporting any defects
