Project manager for the Greater Athens Area Light Railway System (LRT)- TRAM project.

The project entails provision of technical consultant’s services for owner’s support in areas of project management, project control, review of engineering documents and studies released, construction supervision, QA/QC, operation and maintenance issues. The Athens Greater Area Tram project includes a 27 km tramway with relevant supportive installations (catenaries network electrical substations, telecommunication systems etc), a Depot workshop at Hellinico area, and supply of 35 Tram vehicles.

Construction of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Refueling Station at Ano Liosia (2000 – 2001)

Acting on behalf of DEPA S.A (owner), managed all activities associated with construction supervision services extended, for this 4000 Nm3/hr natural gas refuelling station, with a budget of €4 million

• Kalohori Truck Loading Revamping Project (1998 – 1999)

Managed construction supervision services to revamp works required in ELPE’s afore-mentioned facilities. Budgeted at € 9 million, the project aimed at New Bottom Loading Islands & Vapour recovery Units.

• Construction of Natural Gas High Pressure Transmission System Pipeline Segment (1996 – 1998)

This €17 million budget project entailed provision of construction supervision services to DEPA for a 10” pipeline running an approximate distance of 38 km from the Main High Pressure Natural Gas Pipeline (Farsala area) to the industrial zone of the city of Volos.

Construction of Operation & Maintenance Buildings & Control rooms for the NGTS. Rendering services to a major client, DEPA, managed the detailed design and construction supervision aspects of this project, bearing a budget of €15 million. Operation & Maintenance buildings & control rooms (with surrounding area landscaping, roads network etc. ) , were erected to support the operations of the Greek Natural Gas Transmission system, at three distinct locations along the main pipeline routing, namely in N. Messimvria (Northern Greece), Ampelia – Farsala (Central Greece), and Elefsina (Southern Greece).

Managed construction supervision activities at Thessaloniki area during medium pressure pipeline ring construction. The network consisted of pipes 10″ (40Km), 18″(18Km), 6″ (5Km) and 4″ (4Km). It was the first MP network in Greece

Construction manager for the Greek Natural Gas Project. Management/direction of all site supervision teams (a staff of approximately 90 engineers with diverse responsibilities pertinent to construction supervision). The project entailed provision of construction supervision services to the Greek Natural Gas Project (Main HP pipeline) from the Greek-Bulgarian border to Attica, for the transport of Russian Natural Gas. Total pipeline length approximately 515km (36”/104km, 30”/411km)

Above project was the first Natural Gas project in Greece.
