Short Bio:

I have always been fascinated by the way human’s inventions altered the way we perceive the world and in the long run the world itself. As a result, I followed a 5-year curriculum program at the department of Mechanical and Aeronautic Engineering. During my studies, I obtained a broad knowledge in a very diverse range of subjects accompanied by a set of practical workshops that familiarized me with the technical background of the field.

My thirst for more experiences led me to participate in the voluntary organization for young engineers “Board of European Students of Technology”. There for more than three years I had the chance to put my skills to use, be part and later lead several team projects and most of all travel around Europe, meeting new people and places improving my communicational and leadership skills while at the same time creating some long lasting friendships.

In search for more professional work experience, I applied for a summer-job at TITAN cement S.A. where I was accepted as an intern in their Mechanical Department. Taking part in the everyday maintenance procedure of the plant gave me some “hands on experience” on how a line of production works and how work-flow is managed, while it helped me to put my skills to practice and enriched my communication and time management abilities. Being passionate about my work along with my outgoing character helped maintain a positive atmosphere between me and my colleagues making my job there a memorable period.

I am a hard-working, passionate, self-motivated and easily adaptable person, with a constant willingness for self-development. Furthermore, I love being challenged by setting long-term goals. My academic studies and working experience allowed me to appreciate the importance of being meticulous and well-organized at my work, while my interaction with people from different cultural and working backgrounds has helped me become adaptable with strong teamwork spirit. I have learnt to work within short deadlines and remain efficient under pressure.
