Short Bio:

I have spent the last 24 years working wiithin Telecommunications as a member of the Royal Corps of Signals during this time I have held many varied positions.

I have been employed as a CIS training delivery instructor taking Junior technicians and Operators through the Field Phase of their initial Communications training this culmated in a 2 week Exercise where they put into practice all the skills learnt during there classroom based education, this course was continually evaluated and updated as necessary to ensure compliance with a ever changing CIS environment. I also conducted training for foreign students covering all aspects of CIS managment in the field.

I also spent 3 years as the senior instructor on the Cormorant TacticalCommunications Network teaching, Technicians,Managers and Engineers, this was a very diverse group of individuals ranging from junior lance Corporals to senior Captains. Also during this period I designed and carried out course consolidation to see if we could combine the Technician and Engineer course which would have a positive impact on the Soldiers time away from home and a large impact on costing.

Chosen to be the lead on the bringing into service of A Classified Spectrum monitoring System I had to liaise with industry to ascertain what training was available for myself and my Instructors to ensure training was to the correct standards i also had to write the course and send it to Course validation to ensure it was fit for purpose and that the assessment phase was of the correct level.

I am currently the system manager for the Falcon CIS Network as part of 1UK ADSR I have 6 platforms and run the data base administration and network managment of the vehicles.

I am currently undergoing a PGCE in advanced RF engineering and have recently completed my CCNA Routing and Switching.
