I am a commerce graduate with a masters program in hospital administration (MHA) from India. I have nearly ten years experience in hospital administration and an expert in planning and running stand alone cancer centers. I have fourteen years experience in pharma marketing also. I have worked in several cities in India which helps me to understand patients and their attenders from different backgrounds.

Comprehensive Blood and Cancer Center (CBCC) of the USA)


Projects (Stand alone cancer cennters):

Executed the Chennai center project successfully right from planning to commissioning

Coordinated completion of the Trichy center project

Successfully planned two centers, one each in Chennai and Thoothukudi

Currently working on plans for two high end centers in Chennai


Successfully commissioned the Chennai center for patient treatment in Dec ’13

Streamlined the operations in Chennai center including billing and payment recovery

Worked out an agreement with Saveetha Medical College for admission of outstation patiens for supportive care during radiotherapy.

Formulated an agreement with Saveetha Dental college for ward facility for chemotherapy paitents

Was a member of the team which worked for the formation of the joint venture Apollo-CBCC in Gujarat from May to November ’14


Sucessfully compelted empanelment with TN CM insurance scheme. Tie up with ECHS, ESI etc are in process

Implemented satellite consultation centers in Haldia, Tamluk and Midnapore in West Bengal. Negotiations are on with partner hospitals in Bihar and Orissa for a tie up. Negotiations are also on for a tie up for patient referral with two hospitals in Srilanka.

Working out tie up with leading hospitals in neighboring districts on shared services basis

Empanelled Medi-Assist, Bajaj Alliance and Star heatlh insurance

Recruited a number of visiting consultants

Established a referral network of GPs, Dentists, Gyneacologists, ENT and general surgeons

Structured an effective referral fee payment system

Revenue generation: (since the takeover in December 2014)

Achieved a monthly business of 30 lacs in the last few months and a matching revenue collection with a basic linear accelerator

The current patient load is 50 plus patients a day for radiotherapy and more than 100 chemotherapy per month

The arrangement with Saveetha medical college to accommodate radiotherapy patients has resulted in annual saving of INR 4 million for the company.

Managed a team of 14 people to run the above departments and all the responsibilities were given with specific tasks of improving the performance of the departments and brought about significant improvements in them.

The one year administrative residency, a part of the MHA course, was done in S.L.Raheja Hospital-Mumbai from July’05 to April ‘06. As a part of the residency program, did a feasibility study for a hospital in Pune, covering 150 doctors, 10 Chief Medical Officers of Corporate companies, 10 Diagnostic centers and 75 patients, from July’05 to Sep’05.
