•Operating successfully as Officer In Charge of maintaining main diesel propulsion 3xSulzer16ZAV40S, 2xSulzer12ZAV40S and all auxiliary and ancillary equipment, all planned maintenance, overhaul, ordering spare parts and organising maintenance with outside contractors
• Managing and developing a team of ten, Assistant EMM, Senior Machinist, three Machinists, two Welders and two Engine Mechanics; managing a highly qualified and experienced team of mechanics, machinists and fabricators
• Delivering as Officer In Charge of all projects and fabrication in engine spaces; enabling the smooth running of a 82000 gross tonne Cruise Ship main diesel propulsion and all auxiliary and ancillary equipment
• Operating as Fire Team Leader, in charge of a fire fighting team in case of an emergency on-board the vessel, including organising weekly fire drills and training
