Solar turbine filter replacement Qatar Petroleum:

Scope of the project was to replace the existing filter of solar turbine with improved design ( Cam Fill F9,H10) to hot corrosion. Prepared detailed scope of work and participated in detail engineering, bid evaluation, Risk assessment and reviewed equipment drawings and participated in installation / commissioning

Gas turbine enclosure replacement Qatar petroleum:

Involved in GE Gas turbine enclosure replacement. Prepared detailed scope of work for EPIC contract. Reviewed, FEED study, bid evaluation, issued tender bulletins.

Replacement of produced water line Qatar Petroleum:

Scope of the project was to replace the corroded produced water line. Prepared plot plan, demolition and construction P&ID’s, isometric drawings, BOM, LDT and participated in installation and commissioning.

Installation of new instrument Air Compressors Qatar Petroleum:

Involved in the installation of five new screw oil free instrument air compressors (330 SCFM), Prepared Scope of work for EPIC and FEED Contracts.Carried out technical bids evaluation.Issued tender bulletins.Participated in mid tender meeting, kick of meeting and weakly progress review meetings. Replacement of Pig launcher /Receivers Qatar Petroleum:

Scope of the project was to replace 5 No’s Pig launchers/receivers at degassing plant on 16” gas line including job crane, impact wall and purging arrangements. Prepared detailed scope of work for EPIC contract, Reviewed / approved P&ID /ISO drawings DBM, material specifications, data sheets,site survey reports and Tie in schedules. Carried out Bids evaluation and coordinated with contractors for installation and commissioning.

Epic for Mechanical PCR’s (Fast Track) Qatar Petroleum:

Carried out in house FEED of 15 PCR’s.Prepared / reviewed P&ID’s/ ISO’s drawings and conducted design review meetings. Prepared EPIC scope of work.Participated in Mid tender / Kick Off meetings, issued tender bulletin, Technical clarifications. Carried out technical bid evaluation, Risk assessment and reviewed detailed engineering deliverables.

Involved in Installation of new 4000 MT double wall ammonia tank for capacity enhancement and to improve reliability of plant. Prepared / Reviewed IFC / IFR drawings and P&ID’s .Prepared equipment data sheets, methods of construction, and participated in PHA, PSSR , TRA, JSA study, commissioning /startup

Urea Reactor Refurbishment Project DH Fertilizers Limited:

Involved in refurbishment of M/s Nooter Urea Reactor to improve reliability.Reviewed equipment drawings to ensure compliance with vendor’s specification and applicable codes and standards.Sourced suitable vendors, involved in material procurement technical support. Prepared job plans for the replacement of baffles and angles and provided mechanical support during refurbishment. Worked with other package engineers, material specialists to develop material selection guide lines.

Replacement of First decomposer DH Fertilizers Limited:

Scope of the project was to replace existing decomposer with new improved design decomposer to improve the plant reliability. Prepared data sheets, DBM, plot plan, isometrics, P&ID, material take off,MRs and participated in installation and commissioning.

Overhauling of CO2 Compressor DH Fertilizers Limited:

Involved in overhauling of high pressure (3200 psig) reciprocating compressor, carried out the replacement of piston rod assemblies piston rings, piston rod packing scraper rings, suction / discharge valves, checked and adjusted, bearing clearances, web deflections, piston end gaps, piston rod run outs running and commissioning of compressor

Overhauling of Centrifugal Pump DH Fertilizers Limited:

Involved in overhauling of 39000 GPM Centrifugal pumps, replaced rotors, adjusted impeller and casing wear rings clearances and carried out alignment.

Overhauling of Steam Turbine DH Fertilizers Limited:

Involved in repair of 2150 HP Terry steam turbine.Carried out replacement of rotor, carbon ring packing, adjusted turbine and gear box bearing clearances, and axial floats.

Reliability of Heat Exchangers DH Fertilizers Limited:

Involved in inspection / repair and maintenance of heat exchangers at oil and gas plant and investigated the failure causes and recommended solutions.
