• NVIDIA “out of the box” driver experience (August, 2008 – Till date)
Platform : C, VC++, MFC, ATL, COM, Windows SDK
Brief : Primarily this involves developing software applications which would give first impression of cool NVIDIA hardware to end-users. I was part of a global team which would define, design and develop the software which would install various NVIDIA products on end-user machines. As a part of this role, I’ve to develop NVIDIA specific SDK which would allow different NVIDIA software teams to ease the “out of the box” experience.

•PicTree (March, 2008 – August, 2008)
Platform : C, VC++, MFC, Windows SDK
Brief : PicTree is an image comparison tool widely used within NVIDIA for image comparisons while performing various automated and manual tests. PicTree understands various kind of image file formats and compare a set of gold images with actual images and see if they’re similar after performing various operations on it.

Brief : MWTSPNL1 is a tool developed by Zensar for Fujitsu, Japan. This project is basically related to clearing of Security Panel password and confirming that password of Security Panel is not set. This tool executes on Windows VISTA and Windows VISTA PE. This tool is used for Mass Production Testing and tests for proper installation of hardware as per specification.

• MWTConfg [July 2006 – August 2007]
Platform : VC++,MFC,WMI, SDK, Device Drivers, XML,
Brief : This project was related to develop a tool that can retrieve the system configuration information of various devices specified as input, and then either saves and/or compares it with the expected configuration. To retrieve the configuration information of devices specified in the input XML file, tool uses different data sources like WMI, Device Drivers, Registery, and SMBIOS. This tool executes on Windows VISTA and Windows VISTA PE. This tool is used for Mass Production testing.

• FWTACPI [Jan,2006 – June,2007]
Platform : VC++, MFC, SDK

Brief : This project was developed to test the functionality of ACPI BIOS (Firmware). It tests ACPI BIOS functionality of machine states, which are working (S0), Sleep (S1), Suspend (S3) and Hibernate (S4) states. FWTAPCI checks the normality of different devices by switching between machine states and checking the functionality of the devices (such as file device, network device, graphics device, sound card). Different methods of transitions types are used to send the machine into S1/S3/S4 states..
