MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

 Steered Unitpool into CHEP Aerospace Solutions, playing a key role in developing and executing the growth strategy, combining acquisitions with organic growth to build a USD8OM company.

 Acquired Unitpool from Swissport (as part of an MBO) and, as CEO, doubled the ULD pooling business through to successful sale of the business to new owners, Brambles.

 Grew Swissport’s Cargo presence in EMEA region by 20% in 2 years (2004 and 2005).

 Project managed Swissport’s ground-breaking Global Handling Agreement with KLM.

 Rolled out Mid-Term Revenue Management process and system within Swisscargo.

 Doubled the core ULD pooling business to a leased out stock of 25’000.

 Secured financing to support growth from external sources and suppliers.

 Worked closely with the Chairman to identify potential new owners and actively participated in divesting the company to the Brambles Group in July 2010.

 Appointed as Interim CEO by then owners Swissport to lead the company through a sale process.

 Developed the Business Plan and set up the data room.

 Developed and led presentations to prospective purchasers.

 Brought discipline to financial planning processes, especially cash flow forecasting and credit control, avoiding further cash support from the shareholder.

 Continued the SVP role with Swissport in parallel until May 07.

 Responsible for managing all strategic cargo network development projects (acquisitions, start-ups and closures).

 Responsible for Cargo Security, Training and IT, including the selection and implementation of Cargospot (cargo IT system) and securing TAPA Certification at Amsterdam.

 Set up Swissport’s European ground distribution network for customer airlines.

 Responsible for harmonising and optimising processes and service delivery throughout the network to secure compliance to IATA C2K KPIs.

 Revenue grew by 22% to CHF180 million and EBITDA by 70% to CHF17 million during my two years as Regional Head.

 Led projects to successfully open new stations in Amsterdam and Budapest.
