Experienced Project and Operations Manager seeking a new challenge in Australia.

I have gained a great deal in my education and employment to date including management of projects, business development, people management and budgetting and forecasting.

Senior Operations Manager

Strategic role focused on service delivery and management of direct reports both onshore and offshore, with responsibility and accountability for the following:

 Champion and communicate corporate HSEQ initiatives

 Ensuring that HSEQ standards are maintained in accordance with STS REACH policies and statutory requirements

 Support and ensure compliance with all corporate initiatives, policies and strategies

 Internal and external customer interfaces

 Plan, manage and allocate staff, labour, equipment and material resources to ensure delivery

 Facilitate the career development of project team members and site personnel with focus on training, competency and succession planning

 Conduct internal management/ process reviews and amend where necessary to ensure efficiencies

Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, dedicated specifically to operational delivery of STS’s largest single contract, Talisman, my duties are:

 Interface with STS and Client personnel at all levels maintaining professional working relationships

 Ensure all department and company tools are being fully used to appropriately resource and allocate personnel, equipment and materials

 Ensure that department forecasting is regularly updated and significant variances reported and justified

 Ensure project engineers development programmes are progressed and identify training requirements

 Complete annual personal performance reviews with all team members and set objectives to support department and corporate strategies

 Carry out offshore management visits

 Present Specialist Cleaning and Asbestos capabilities during internal Supervisor workshops

 Carry out internal compliance audits within Specialist Cleaning and Asbestos as well as other departments

 Carry out external supplier audits

For a period of 6months during 2011 and 2012 I was also responsible for all Asbestos Management Operations within the department as well as delivering the Talisman contract.

I am also responsible for all STS Inspection and Specialist Cleaning joint operations and have delivered a number of successful multi disciplined projects on various client assets including Conoco Phillips, Shell and Talisman.

Project Manager

Managing various client projects simultaneously including works for Nexen, Apache, Wood Group, HRL and Centrica my main duties were:

 Management of complex projects

 Deliver projects to client expectations within tight planning deadlines and schedules

 Maximise opportunities for RBG

 Review and approve Cost, Time and Resource estimates prior to issue to client

 Review and approve all equipment and material orders

 Raise Value of Work Done documentation

 Review project costs and issue revised CTR’s and variations as necessary

 Oversee and review work packs inclusive of job specific method statements and risk assessments

 Ensure project plans are completed and maintained

 Ensure forecasting sheets are maintained whilst highlighting significant variations

 Mentor project engineers in all aspects of delivery

 Ensure all personnel receive a safety and project specific brief prior to commencement of works

 Manage offshore work scopes and complete site audits

 Hold and document regular team meetings covering HSEQ, operational, department and corporate issues

 Conduct post project debriefs with supervision and document and share within department

During my time as Project Manager, I also successfully developed and implemented the department Project Engineer Development Programme which has proved very valuable in tracking progress of new recruits as well as ensuring training and development is provided to a consistent and structured standard across the department.
