I am a mechanical engineer and my seniority is over 22 years in shipyards:
Shipbuilding – Outfitting, Ship Repair & Conversion – Mechanical Department and Procurement.
During my career I have work to over 100 ships under repair and more than 50 new buildings.
My responsibilities as manager was:
Leading of 7 foreman’s, 5 engineering staff and over 250 workers;
In charge with all the Deck machinery ( windlasses, winches, life boats, hatch covers, deck cranes etc.), cargo holds, tanks and upper deck outfitting jobs – FOR ALL PROJECTS.

- Create before and after launching schedules, checking MH for each job, attending inspections on board, supervise the manpower and man hour distribution.
- Checking the daily progress of the jobs on ship. Ordering of the necessary materials, checking for their arrivals and create of missing materials list, by projects.
