  • I currently work as a Deputy Manager Recruitment & Training for China Railway Construction Corporation Ltd. CRCC, one of the world's most powerful and largest integrated construction group, ranking the 133rd among "the world’s top 500" on 2010 "Fortune", the 1st among "world's largest 225 contractors", and the 8th among "China’s top 500 enterprises", is the largest engineering contractor in China, also China's largest overseas engineering contractor. Recruitment Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment services to ensure the staffing strategies are in line with the company’s Objectives
  • Starting from 2010, we have successfully achieved hiring 4,000 staff every year for the duration of Hajj Operations period/full time. In which more than 15,000 junior/senior candidates been interviewed from the local & International market.
  • Perform duties in relation to the recruitment and selection process which includes shortlist candidates, liaise with agencies, coordinate and participant in interviews
  • Develop channels for sourcing professionals and general operations candidates  i. e liaise with College and professional institutes
  • Formulate recruitment plans for Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro
  • Maintain a system of employee personnel records
  • Develop an assessment centre for assessing the competencies of potential candidates
  • Perform candidates’ closure, follow-up and monitoring the progress of the selected candidates
  • Work closely with line managers and identify their manpower needs
  • Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the operation & HR director and the corporate Services Director.
  • Prepared and implemented a PSL which involved identifying suitable vendors / suppliers and negotiating terms and conditions with said suppliers / vendors.
  • Introduced new in-house employment contracts.
  • Arranged visas and work permits for staff being assigned abroad and ensured all relevant personnel where covered with CRCC medical insurance
  • Ensure that recruitment and employment policies and procedures are current and applied fairly and consistently

Training Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all training and development functions which include operation training, maintenance training, supervisory and management training, talent development and succession planning
  • There are total of 18,000 station staff have been successfully trained including (temporary & permanent staff) from 2010 according to the international standards/ rules & procedures.
  • Develop Chinese and none Chinese staff training section and coordinate resources including hiring and management of qualified specialists
  • Identify and establish framework and plans for staff training and development to support business strategies and organizational goals
  • Formulate and develop the training and development polices and annual plan based on the priorities and needs of the corporate and individual departments
  • Train and coach line trainers in the design and delivery of technical courses
  • Assess the overall organizational competency strength and gap
  • Develop training intervention from both internal and external sources to uplift the standards of the company’s expertise and competency levels
