, 2014 – Present

Delivered intelligence product and analysis to key decision makers for a headquarters undergoing major restructuring and taking on additional responsibility. Coordinated security delivery across local and regional structures in the North East UK; this included Catterick Garrison area (combined population of over 13,000) and 7 other major locations, ensuring the safety of approximately 30,000 military and associated civilian staff.

• Delivered and coordinated counterintelligence and security in collaboration with government, police and military agencies, requiring cooperation and relationship management.

• Created and implemented regional security operating procedures, speeding up treatment of security issues by empowered low level stakeholder solutions.

• Improved decision making of key command staff on North African issues affecting binational defence engagement through direction and delivery of intelligence analysis and support.

Responsible for operational planning and project management, policy and coordination as well as training delivery for over 500 staff in 10 dispersed sites, in line with ISO 9000.

• Managed selection, preparation and training of deploying personnel from individuals to groups of up to 30 plus producing output vital to operational success.

• Managed and implemented an annual training schedule with a budget of £1.2 million

• Reduced pressure on key staff and improved output delivery by driving a 100% uplift of trained instructors within 6 months.

• Developed training and instigated pilot programme with specialist stakeholders, delivering trained personnel providing security to senior diplomats and military officials overseas.

Brigade Provost Officer, Operational Deployment, Afghanistan
2010 – 2012

Delivered subject matter expertise and operational analysis to multinational deployed headquarters for over 5000 troops on all matters relating to the detention, handling and processing of detained enemy forces. 3 RIFLES, Infantry Company Intelligence Officer, Operational Deployment, Afghanistan
2009 – 2010

Led and managed a specialist intelligence gathering and analysis team in hostile conditions, delivering organic support to an infantry unit on combat operations. Pioneered on-the-ground intelligence coordination and operational liaison to neighbouring US Special Forces within a complex and dynamic counter-insurgency operation in Sangin Province, Southern Afghanistan.

Led and managed a team of 30 delivering investigative and law enforcement capability throughout the northern UK, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This included response to high profile major incidents and UK wide targeted arrest operations.
