 Analyze work orders and blueprints to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations required.
 Requisition supply, such as weld rods, gas, flux, and fixtures.
 Inspect work or confers with Weld Inspector to maintain specified standards and quality.
 Set up machines or make trial welds to make test runs and experimental products.
 Supervise fitting and assembly of structural frames. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
 Able to increase automation and improve welding productivity /efficiency in the yard.
