Commissioning Operation Engineer, in BAIJI Power Plant (6×160MW) SIEMENS SGT 2000E, GAS TURBINE under SPPA-T3000 Control System. Fuel Unloading, Fuel forwarding, Crude oil treatment, water and Waste water treatment plants.

Responsibilities and Skills:-

• Directing and guiding the operation team, coordinate the commissioning activities (Mechanical, electrical and I&C) for GTG (gas turbine Generator) area, and BOP (balance of plant) area.

• Participate in kick off meetings performed by relevant project and Participate in project status meetings.

• Prepare the PTW system to confirm that all the activities are doing as per the company quality with close coordination with the SIEMENS team on the site.

• Ensure the preparation of commissioning, operation, and quality record and feedback documentation.

• Work Shoulder-to-shoulder with the planning department to follow up and update the project schedules.

• Maintain logbooks to record commissioning and operational events as specified in the work instructions.

• Assist with preparing commissioning schedule, developing primary turnover system creation, preparing commissioning resource plan and preparing commissioning execution plan.

• Maintains and Prepare all CCC packages, operations and maintenance documentations.

• Following and helping in the commissioning procedure for the GTG systems and prepare the daily progress reports with SIEMENS TFA’s (technical field advisors).

• Responsible for assisting the start-up commissioning teams with all aspects of power plant operations.

• Worked as a Shift Supervisor during commissioning to train the local Iraqi Operators how to operate all plant systems.

• Carry out risk assessments on each job as required and raise any concerns with the commissioning Manger.

• Monitoring the performance of staff and operational support contract staff to ensure optimum delivery from the plant.

• Developing all plant operating procedures for GTG area, fuel unloading, treatment and forwarding plant.

Lead and support Operations engineer 2 turbines *70MW (7001EA), Speed Tronic MKVIe, with the fuel forwarding and fuel treatment plant. Construction of Al Qurrayat power plant.

Responsibilities and Skills:-

• Directing and guiding the operation team, coordinate the Job with the other departments (construction and commissioning) for GT (gas turbine) area, and BOP (balance of plant) area

• Monitoring the performance of staff and operational support contract staff to ensure optimum delivery from the plant.

• Preparing, planning and following the preventive maintenance for the mechanical and chemical Job which related to the GTG area and the BOP area during the operation periods.

• Assist the Plant Manager in implementing company policies, SOPs, safety procedures, good housekeeping, energy conservation guidelines and environmental regulations.
