Short Bio:

A 16-year career marked by rapid progression through technical, management and business domains, has exposed me to the dynamic energy of start-ups and the corporate culture of major global multinationals including Unisys, BT, Alcatel-Lucent, Pricewaterhouse Coopers and Virgin Media. While occupying senior management and executive positions for the past 9 years, I have worked under Vice-Ministers executing large programmes and CEOs to build profit-generating, multi-cultural and multi-disciplined organisations to drive business success in diverse and challenging cultural and organisational environments across the EMEA region.

An extensive and diverse journey across the domains of Information Security, Information Technology, Mobile and Fixed-Line Telecoms demonstrates my fundamental understanding of technology implementations, enabling me to rapidly build understanding in related areas.

My successes in delivering £50k projects to full-lifecycle £2Billion programmes, is a result of adapting and applying the structured and methodical approaches represented by the PMI and PRINCE2 frameworks as a manager and through a PMO.

As a central governing authority, a PMO benchmarks the quality of project execution via policies and procedures, documentation sets, metrics, monitoring tools, standards, governance and more. Experience in establishing PMOs for a large telecoms and security programme and a business division has given me invaluable insights into programme delivery and benchmarking execution quality and establishing the right conditions for success.

Since 2008, I have increasingly worked with Information Security Governance, Information Risk and Compliance, Information Security Management (ISO27001/2), Business Continuity (BS25999) and Disaster Recovery for major government and private sector clients in the UK and Middle East.

As the current Director of Security Consulting at SCC, I hold executive responsibility for the technical and commercial strategy and operations across the business division. Having defined the vision and mission, I have created an execution programme to meet capability benchmark and financial targets with limited resources.

Subsequently, the business division has experienced growth from a baseline of £200k in 2012 to £2.5 Million in 2013 with a forecast of £10 Million for 2014. Clients won in 2013 include the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, government ministries and well-known multinational companies within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
