To lead the successful completion of multiple Baggage Handling Systems, including HBS (Hold Baggage Screening) and TTS (Tilt Tray Sortation) systems, as the role of lead controls and commissioning engineer. To design, engineer and implement all electrical and controls aspects of a project, along with the management and supervision of in house and on site teams. Duties include providing input to the sales and proposals teams from a controls perspective. The design and testing of all electrical control panels, using calculations to help determine cable and component sizing and rating. Authoring of electrical installation packages, including cabling schedules, technical (design, interface, testing and performance) specifications and electrical drawings. Monitoring of control panel manufacture; ensuring that all deadlines and budgets are achieved, promising high quality throughout. Development, emulation and on site commissioning of PLC software, subsequently leading to client testing and handover. Product development, which includes upgrading and improving current solutions, focusing on cost reduction, performance enhancing and efficiency improvements.
