Short Bio:

I've been a CNC turner for 7 years+ in total (4 as a apprentice) I have also worked on manual boring, cnc milling and in a fitting/assembly department. I run a Siemens controlled, twin saddle machine turning steel rolls up to 30 tonne. I've mostly worked on shafts ranging from 30 mm to 1200 mm in diameter and up to 6 meters long. I am a fast learner and strive to work to the best of my ability

• Trained in Fagor programming (simular to Fanuc) and Siemens.

• Basic knowledge in Heidenhain programming

• Eager to learn new skills and programming

• Worked with tight tolerances (0.02mm)

• The ability to interpret and read drawings

• Understaning of mertic and imperial.

• Worked on a Bins and Berry 2 axis CNC Long bed lathe. Turning shafts from 40mm dia to 400mm dia and 4m long.

• Currently working on a CNC Long bed lathe with Siemens controls with twin saddles.

• Experience in mild steel (en8 and en24), hardened steel, chrome and cast iron. Ranging from 0 – 25 tonne
