Job Description;

• Review of applicable Inspection Test Plan, Quality Plan and Procedures.

• Review and Validation of Inspection Assignments documentation (technical aspects, reference documentation, schedules, milestones, reporting, logistics, coordination procedures.)

• Execution of inspection and reporting including treatment of non-conformities.

• Carrying out receiving inspection, visuals inspections, dimension control, final inspection and etc. as required.

• Interpretation of test results & inspection.

Duties and Responsibilities;

• Approved QA/QC Civil Inspector by owner Kuwait Oil Company.

 Evaluate non-conformances and determine their acceptability/criteria or upon consideration to the item’s criticality rating; record and cross-reference deviations or concessions, and maintain a deviations and concession registration.

 Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material.

 Re-inspect post-surveillance modifications, corrective action and replacements in accordance with the original requirements, recorded and cross-referenced.

 Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer/client complaints.

 Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.

 Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.

• Conduct Inspection for scaffoldings, formworks, reinforcement bars sized, spacing and cutting/bending, alignments, elevations, locations, for all sub-structure with respect to approved shop drawing and safety requirements, and specifications prior to concrete casting.

• Monitor the batching time, time of arrival at site, slump and flow of the concrete delivered at site up to the time of finished of concrete pouring.

• Follow up and Monitor the concrete strength of samples taken during concrete casting.

• Monitor daily activities at site and if found some damage, scratch and dent at tile cladding metal ceiling and Door Architrave ,report immediately to QA/QC Manager and make instruction to the sub-contractor to replace the damage material or make NON CONFORMANCE REPORT

• Conduct Inspections together with the Consultant for tile works, ceiling, claddings and glazing as per the ITP.

• Conduct inspection with the Consultant of scaffoldings, formworks, reinforcement bars sized, spacing and cutting/bending, alignments, elevations, locations, for all sub-structures and super-structures with respect to approved shop drawing and safety requirements, and specifications prior to concrete casting.

• Monitor the batching time, time of arrival at site, slump and flow of the concrete delivered at site up to the time of finished of concrete pouring.

• Give Instruction to workers to maintain the curing of the structure until it will reach the desired strength.

• Follow up and Monitor the concrete strength of samples taken during concrete casting.

• Conduct inspection prior to block laying, plastering, screed concrete and inspection prior to painting works at RC walls and Block walls.

• Invite Consultant in conducting/witnessed for the field density test done by Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) from formation level, granular sub base and wet mix materials

• Monitor test result either passed or fail for sampling and field density test (FDT) conducted before laying next layer during construction of Road works

• Supervision of asphalt projects, paving personal, and trucks on jobsite. Ensuring Quality Control was to meet or excide customer’s expectations. Dealing with Chief Engineer and District Engineer.
