Project Detail

On behalf of Ministry of Transport, KSA for the project of Roads, Bridges and interchanges part of the consultant supervision team in Hail, project consists of 12 sub projects with 6 contractors and each having different links of road and Interchanges of total cost of 1.105 billion SAR.

Duties on Project:

 General oversight of inspector’s daily activities including work assignment, on-site performance and guidance on the supervision of the contractor’s operations.

 Checking shop drawing of bridges and culvert and giving recommendation to RE for approval of Contractor shop drawings.

 Execution of all activity of Bridges as per specification i.e. stressing of strands cable grouting checking sub contractor approval for giving permission for start activity.

 Checking design of Aggregate Base course (ABC), Bituminous Base course (BBC), Bituminous Wearing Course (BWC) and Concrete lab trial detail before submitting to MOT for final approval.

 Construction supervision of All Structural work of bridges & culverts, Road work and infrastructure works.

 Implementation of safety during all construction activities.

 Review of contractor’s inspection, surveying and testing requests and subsequent completed reports.

 Inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.

 Give a practical advice on constructional matters.

 Checking detour of contractor submitted to consultant office as per approved Detour from Ministry of Transport.

 Supervise contractor’s work to achieve construction in accordance with the contract documents.

On behalf of Developer for the project of Hail City Expansion Project, Saudi Arabia, Part of the Project Management Team to overlook the complete Infrastructure and development works for land development of 18 Millions Square meter in 10 phases.

Duties on Project

Being as” Cost Engineer” my duties on project were as follow:

Making cost analysis sheet of the financial bid of the contractors.

Making comparative statement of the contractors bid and technical evaluation for client as per contract documents.

Checked and approved Consultant monthly Interim Payment Certificate IPC,S for the payments.

Checked and approved Contractor monthly Interim Payment Certificate IPC,S for the payments.

During in the Value Engineering VE and Design review session giving the suggestion to  control total price of the project and modifications as per Saudi Standards.

On behalf of the Client Government of Pakistan, part of Project Implementation Unit team to overlook Earthquake damaged area of 7,000 Square Km of roads, residential, commercial and government buildings.

Duties on Project:

Being a “Assistant Engineer” transport & Communication sector my duties were as follow:

EEAP Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project have implemented the Asian Development Bank Guide lines and FIDIC General conditions of contract and particular conditions for execution of the project program, also used the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASTHO), American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) and British Standard (B.S) for the material specification and testing procedures.

Reviewed and prepared estimation reports of BOQ as well as Technical bid investigation valuation of Tender Documents of contractors bid for projects. Forwarded evaluation reports to Donation Agencies for Earthquake (Asian development bank) for NOC to award the tender to the successful bidder.

Reviewed design deficiencies and implemented new modified designs as required according to the site conditions.

Supervised Building and Roads construction Projects for District Headquarter Hospital Athmuqam, Tehsil Headquarter hospital Hattian. Projects consist of Four Building facilities for Power Sector and ten bridges.
