OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Shift relieving and handing over the charges to the reliever

• Plant monitoring and reading.

• Maintain log sheet.

• Conduct checking tour of entire units.

• Plant start up and shutdown activities

• Check for any abnormalities and reporting to the concerned departments.

• Co-ordinate with control room in case of emergencies.

• Supervision of Pump change over

• Hand over equipments for maintenance

• Follow safety rules

• Mark log entries at the prescribed time.

• Discuss unit conditions and abnormalities with all concerned departments.

• Attend equipment’s requiring frequent checking.

• Ensure the necessary housekeeping work in units.

• Check work permits (hot & cold) and verify work permits issued.

EXPERIENCE IN HANDLING OF EQUIPMENTS LIKE :

Various types of Condensers, Heat Exchangers, Reboilers, Columns and Vessels, Pumps,

Various types of Valves, Compressors (GT Compressor, Expander Compressors, Reciprocating Compressor), Flare System, Hot Oil System, Fuel Gas Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants,

Fire Monitors, Cooling water system, Ejectors

FIRE & SAFETY :

• Attended Fire & Safety and First Aid Training.

• Knowledge of fire and safety procedures.

• Familiar with operation of fire extinguishers like foam, DCP, CO2 etc.
