2011- 2013: District Manager Eastern Europe – Sales, Business Development & Aftermarket (Surface Systems & Artificial Lift) CAMERON (Romania)

  • Looked for opportunities to leverage District assets to improve share, sales and profitability
  • Performed Business Development activity throughout the region and successfully penetrated new markets. Using a diplomatic approach I managed to develop new markets and also improve the collaboration with very important clients in the region such as NIS- Serbia, Ukraneft –Ukraine, Petrofac- Romania, Bankers Petroleum- Albania
  • Managed to double the yearly sales budget from $15 MM to $ 30MM by signing important tenders and developing Aftermarket
  • Enhanced HSSE performance for all Eastern Europe District. In line with Company policy and safety regulations I managed to systematically increase the Composite Score on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis and growing the score from 96-98% to 100% and achieving the highest recognition in terms of HSSE by scoring Platinum (the district was previously scored Gold).
  • Successfully developed the Aftermarket division for Eastern Europe by implementing three key components: Spare Parts, Refurbished Good Repairs (RGR) and Vendor Management Inventory (VMI). With all the above up and running the Aftermarket was designed and forecasted to generate significant revenue and triple the numbers over the next 24 months exceeding $10MM
  • Dramatically improved the Account Receivables. By performing Root Cause Analysis, Assigning qualified personnel to follow up with all the debtors and by Chairing Weekly Meetings I managed to accelerate the recuperation for all the Delayed Payments throughout Eastern Europe. Outcome and Facts: Recuperation rate was reduced from 90 days down to 60 days and sometimes even 30 days; paperwork and bureaucracy were well reduced which proved to save time and be a win-win situation for both parts
  • Obtaining green light for several AFE’s proved to be essential for the Eastern Europe District and generated tremendous revenue for the Company. Being well persistent and based on economical justifications & feasibility analysis I managed to obtain green light for several Approval for Expenditures (AFE). The funds helped us to develop the Aftermarket division but also helped us to qualify for important tenders by sourcing specific field equipment (Ex: OMV, 5yrs contract + 2 yrs extension, Revenue > $75MM)
  • Developed financial estimates based upon past performance, current action plans and future market expectations
  • Reviewed Profit & Loss (P&L) performance against budget/ shipment estimates. Perform yearly forecast reports
  • Well improved the Slow Movement Inventory (SMI). Using SAP I kept track of all oilfield equipment (raw material or/and finished goods) that was unused and performed Root Cause Analysis to determine the history behind each piece of equipment. Based on that equipment history along with forecast and future sales I managed to successfully place most of the oilfield equipment wherever needed globally and by doing so I also maintained a very positive dynamics bringing obsolete items to everyone’s attention and designing solutions for their placement
  • Coordinated the tender management and maintained relationships with other functions, Divisions and Groups within the company to best leverage available resources. Responsible for terms and conditions & contracts negotiation
  • Ensured all contracts are developed according to Frame Work Agreements (FWA) already in place
