Manage the supply chain of Cipla Europe (direct markets) along with strategic partnerships

• Projects in cost savings in logistics, warehousing, IT and distribution

Initiated and managed projects, with a cross functional team, for cost savings in the supply chain

Realized savings of $ 200,000 in the supply chain (on a spend base of $ 1 m) with key levers being the following:

Setting up a process of negotiation of monthly logistics rates with the LSP

Optimizing the shipper fill volume as per the market demand and maximizing pallet efficiency

• Sales and Operation Planning: Generate the monthly sales and demand forecast

Responsible for Cipla Europe’ sales and operations planning (business ~$ 100 m p.a.)

Brought significant improvements in KPIs (forecast accuracy: 55%, rolling quarter forecast fidelity: 63%)

• Manage Supply Chain of North, West and Central Europe: Ensure OTIF levels of >98%

• Designed and implemented the MRP for Cipla Europe

• Lead a team of planners to ensure strategic (targeted) OTIF levels are met

• Design and implementation of the European Central Distribution Center (CDC)

• Managed the set-up of Cipla’s central distribution hub for Europe in Genk, Belgium
