Outline:

Established in 2007, the ADM acts as the focal point of municipal planning and oversees public works projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Whilst working in the Tunnel Operation Control Centre (TOCC) based at Sheikh Zayed Tunnel, I was responsible for directing the delivery of traffic detour control, roadway marking, signage installation and maintenance programs for two tunnels, and their approaches.

Key responsibilities:

• Provided the required detailed planning and coordination of manpower, equipment and facility resources to achieve traffic operations program service delivery, and safety, standards

• Monitored traffic on the SCADA monitor and provided direction to crews in response to incoming emergent situations

• Responsible for crew training and orientation, safety training, and enforcement, and provided hands on support services for 6 Emirati ADM Supervisors in Tunnel Operations

• Provided working direction and ensured that the completed work met standards of productivity and quality, and reviewed and assessed operational performance and standard operations procedures formulated by the contractor

• Prepared regular operations progress reports and gave operational guidance to the tunnel operation manager

• Event Planning, review meetings and de-brief

Outline:

While working in the Traffic Control Centre (TCC), I was chiefly responsible for monitoring the traffic through CCTV and coordinating with other agencies, departments and divisions to ensure that the proper support activities were accomplished.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinated with subordinated supervisors to ensure that the planning, scheduling and implementation of traffic signals was cost effective, and completed within established timeframes with the applicable regulations, policies and procedure followed

• Managed the operation of the Traffic Operations section, supervised the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices
