March 2014 to present – Jacobs EPCM – Senior Civils QA/QC Supervisor

Project: BP Khazzan Gas Wells Expansion Projects ( GWES) – Location Block 61 Oman

Major duties include Carrying out civil works compliance inspections and supervision of Jacobs QC civils and roads inspection team to monitoring and witnessing of contractor’s activities during the construction phases of the GWES full gas field development projects GWES projects include construction of over 70 Drilling Rig Pads and associated Infield Graded Road’s and construction of new Asphalt Roads, together with numerous infrastructure upgrade projects including process plant, building and cam p construction.. Responsible for Approving construction materials i.e. Concrete Mix designs and concrete materials, Backfill materials. Inspection of Batching plants for approval to supply concrete for the project. Monitoring concrete placement and on site testing of concrete and inspections of rebar and formwork prior to concrete casting. Verification of compaction testing of backfill and foundations. Project : Oil & Gas field Infrastructure projects (various) – Location Nigeria

Principle role as the Construction Representative QA/QC Senior Civils Inspector to Chevron Nigeria Ltd. at Escravos Oil Terminal Delta State. For inspection of heavy reinforced concrete works, Construction of Accommodation Blocks, Food Storage Warehouse, New Mess Hall and Kitchens, Aviation Tower, Fire Station Emergency Response Smoke House, plumbing and underground sanitary sewers associated with these buildings. Role was as a Senior QA/QC Civils Inspector to Saudi Aramco For inspection of heavy reinforced concrete works, underground sanitary, oily water sewers from 6” to 36” Dias. 10” firewater mains and all associated earthworks and backfill construction of 4 no Electrical Substations, Process Interface building’s, Central control room, 1km. of Structural Steel Piperack 20 m high, Off Plot Well Heads, Trunk and Flowlines various dias from 8” to 56”. Manifold and Scraper Trap areas 70 km’s of road construction, pipe line right of way’s (ROW). Construction of Pioneer Camps, prior to Main Contracts commencing. Approving construction materials i.e Concrete & Asphalt mix designs, Masonry blocks, Formwork materials, Backfill materials. Reviewing drawings and construction method statements prior to construction . Assist contractors with technical problems prior to and and during construction phases. Position based at Saudi Aramco, Dhahran Headquarters for construction of large Hospital, Housing and Warehouse Refurbishment, Structural and Finishings, Earthworks, Road make-up and Utilities prior to new housing development, in addition to work at Aramco Aviation Facilities at the new Dhahran International Airport, which included terminal and maintenance facilities. 1973 to 1981 Borough of Sunderland Highways department – Street & Roadworks Area Supervisor Project : Road Maintenance Projects – North East England

Initial duties included role of Street Mason for laying flagstones, carrying out concrete work and tarmacing. Promoted to Chargehand supervisor role with responsibility for levelling, setting out and reporting, in addition to supervising junior staff. Latter responsibility for managing a team of 15-20 personnel located throughout a large area of Washington New Town, including co-ordinating and scheduling work and conducting quality control inspections.
