Workied for VW and decided to do a HNC in Motor Vehicle Management and Technology whilst working still. I have spent 5 years in Motor Sport where I have gone on to be an Assistant Manager. I spent two years as a Vehicle Purchaser getting experience with customers and managing my own office and targets. Left there to go travelling where I worked in Perth. Now I work as a mechanic but run the day to day duties in the workshop. I am honest, hard working and like to learn new things.

Cedar Cars: Running the workshop as a lone mechanic and Service Manager, ordering parts from different suppliers, carrying out work for retail customers, traders and sales too. Price jobs with the use of Autodata, discuss issues with customers, write invoices, report to sales manager and maintain workshop cleanliness. Use my experiance to offer ideas on how to advertise and how to set up a new workshop.
Automasters Morley Perth Australia: Carrying out service and repairs to different vehicles. Following orders from management and completed paperwork as required.
EPA Events and World Stages Perth Australia: Helping out set up/take down event equipment (Audio, Lighting, Seating, Barriers and Wiring) Helping World Stages put up/take down two different types of stages. General labouring, followed instructions from crews and managers.
Webuyanycar.com: Inspect Vehicles to a high standard to show the company what we are actually purchasing, then use computer to help assist paying the correct price from any damage that was recorded. Customer involvement all the time explaining how the process works and to give them the understanding if any price changes. Managed my own site in 11 different places. Spent most of the time in Milton Keynes and Leicester.
Daytona: Servicing, repairing and prepping Go-Karts. Ordering parts, doing invoices, interviewing new starters, doing the rotas and generally running the workshop with guidance from the Manager.
Palmersport: Prepping cars for cooperate events (Clios, Caterhams etc) Attending breakdowns, stripping and fitting of parts and full rebuilds when the season ends.
Protheroes: (VW Dealership up until 2004). Servicing vehicles: Engines, Gearboxes, Brakes, Suspension and Electrics. Main interest in electrics (fitting cruise controls, window regulators and door locks) Helped with breakdowns and did most of the companies Air Conditioning. Kept work in progress records and referred to my foreman or manager.
