Short Bio:

I worked in the British Royal Marines for 9 years working in a number of different locations all over the world. I then joined the metropolitan Police in London where i worked as a firearms officer providing armed protection for the Prime Minister, American and Israeli Ambassadors and the pope and Obama on their visits to the UK. I am currently employed as a maritime security consultant providing armed protection for ships in the Indian Ocean against Somali pirates. I have been doing this job for 2 years now and i am looking for a new challenge.

EXPERIENCE:

12/2011 – Present Maritime Security Liaison Officer Protection Vessels International

Responsible for providing onboard security as part of a team to merchant vessels transiting the high risk areas of the Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman and the Indian Ocean.

Main duties include:

• Advise and liaise with Captain on areas of concern and recent pirate activity

• Conduct onboard anti-piracy drills with crew

• Prepare crew and vessel for the High Risk Area

• Provide watch cover day and night

• Advise and assist in vessel protection and defences

• Deploy with firearms as necessary in line with Rules of Engagement
