Short Bio:

Currently employed as a Military engineer (Electrician) in the British Army. “Achieved top scores on many of the theoretical exams and achieved very creditable scores on practical exams.” “Has a natural ability and flare for the electrical trade” Always looking for new challenges whether it be in work or in personal life.

• Technical ability: Tasked to take control of a maintenance team on operations in the Gulf which entailed; installations, fault finding and testing and inspection.
• Ability to work under pressure: Tasked to set up power for troops while on exercise within a certain time limit in tough conditions
• Flexibility: Ability to work in any part of the workshop and learn new skills and techniques in order to assist other trades in their line of work.

After starting of as a plastic fabricator in a small firm and building up an extensive knowledge of the trade, was trusted and skilled enough to design and produce from a customer’s rough idea into a finished product, un-aided and un-supervised .Then went on to join to British Army as an Electrician. Career served in various theatres around the world including America, The Gulf and Cyprus. Most recently working as an electrician in The Gulf, during this time was tasked to take control of a maintenance team and perform specific tasks which included; routine maintenance, identified works, testing and inspections including fault finding and the installations of building to bring them on-line.
During the time spent in the British Army such achievements include;
• Employed as senior sign writer in charge of stock, design, preparation and completion of various jobs. Also used to help out in carpenters bay when man power is low due to quick ability to learn.
• Worked numerous weekends at public events to show military presence and encourage people to think about joining the services.
• Involved in many adventure training tasks from mountain biking in the cairngorms, skydiving in Cyprus to climbing Ben Nevis
• Controlling a maintenance team in The Gulf on various electrical tasks
• Part of a team of 20 tasked to replace a roof and bring the electrics up to standards in America.
