1986

1987

1988

1992
Promotion to Quality control and test engineer (ZFF and ZFP products). Developed the companies test and quality control department. Designed and built numerous test adapters and apparatus. Designed and built a bespoke test facility, adapted to run and quality control check ZF products.

1994 – June 2005
Promotion to the Off-Highway department as a Product Support Engineer. Primarily office based, providing technical support for off highway products to internal departments, vehicle manufacturers, importers, and operators of ZF equipment. Processing of warranty claims and liaison between the parent factories and end customers.

Providing classroom-training programmes (practical/theoretical) on all products to the dealer network and OEM manufactures.

Liaison between Loss Adjusters and OEM clients with respect to technical related issues.

2005/June – December 2008.
Working from home office; employed by CNH (CE Case Brand) as a Service Manager for the UK (North). Responsible for customer/dealer relationships and the successful resolution of technical problems on all Case brand products in the field. Other responsibilities include:

• Promotion of Case dealer service to the customer, carrying out continual assessment of the Dealer responsibilities in conjunction with the Dealer contract.

• Analysing claimant responses and formulating arbitration agreements for warranty and policy issues, this includes direct contact with the customer.

• Providing as much instruction to the dealer network as possible. This includes one to one training both in the field for the engineer and office based training for the development of their individual businesses.

 

2008/December to Dec/2009 – Relocation to France, employed by CNH as an EU Commercial Training Manager (Professional status).

• Responsible for training dealer salespersons, managers and Directors (EU and international Region) on the Case Construction product lines, features benefits and technical understanding of the components; Key features such as engines, drivelines, hydraulics, etc.

• Building and presenting PPT presentations.

• Also responsible, for building and developing WEB based training aids in line with company requirements and working with service providers for language translations and quality control of completed presentations.

• Organising, executing of “special events” for internal and external customers.

• Providing Operator instruction of all main Case Construction Product lines.

• Developing new ideas, such as quick reference guides and statistics to aid the salesperson approach to selling.

• Assisting marketing department and providing guidance with exhibitions.

2009/December to June 2010
Return to UK, working from home office in Nottingham, as a Commercial training manager (Professional status) solely for the International Region. All responsibilities remain as above.

June 2010 to June 2011
Promotion to Network Development as a Manager, (Professional status) responsible for the Nordic, Baltic and Benelux region. Tasks include scouting for potential dealers, retrieving company financial data, assessing market needs TIV, SoM, and implementing the company start-up procedures for new candidates. Building 5-year business plans in line with company strategy and dealer capabilities and ensuring that the dealers maintain standards written within the dealer standard code. Final task for failing companies is to help recovery or terminate contracts.

October 2011 to 2013
Employed by Allison Transmission BV in Sliedrecht the Netherlands as a Service Manager and quality team leader. Managing an independent Distributor and Service network for Scandinavia, Benelux and Baltic region. Also responsible for channel development, to carry out audits and to maintain minimum standard provisions in line with company policy. Also to liaison on technical issues with OEM’s such as: Scania/Volvo/Renault/Mercedes/MAN/DAF and many other major manufactures in the industry.

October 2013 to present day
Employed by EPG Insurance Services as a claims engineer. Adjudication of various claims types within the automotive and construction equipment industry. Over-seeing technical issues related to claims and the sales and marketing team activities as well as providing training and personal development of the service team staff within EPG.
