I have extensive experience in the fields of security software development, risk management, computer forensics, cyber security, security intelligence, and vulnerability remediation. I am currently working at Department of Social Services (DSS) as Authentication Specialist which I am providing technical advice on several projects within DSS. Such projects that I am currently working on is the Aged Care Gateway. This is to enable single sign-on for integration of applications using federated authentication.

• Migrated the PKI digital certificates from windows 2003 to 2012r2

• Provisioned single sign-on Active Directory Federated Services infrastructure for Aged Care Gateway portals.

I was also involved in the Multi factor authentication project that was being deployed into ATO and the Symantec End Point Protection (EPP) & Data Centre Security (DCS) project.

Responsibilities & Accomplishments:

• Maintain, manage and operate a Microsoft Certificate Authority deployment within a large Australian Government client e.g. ATO.

• Collaborate with clients, HP technical teams and other provider staff as required to implement defined security policy and risk mitigations.

• Deployed and administered Symantec End-Point Protection (EPP) for client’s requirements. This includes Host-based application whitelisting, configuration monitoring through characterization, intrusion detection monitoring and intrusion prevention management.

• Delivered expertise and forward-thinking strategies to key application teams, solution architects, and IAM team members.

• Undertook security tasks and activities as part of the HP Security Operations team.

• Design and deliver performance and usage reports to predefined parameters relating to the PKI service. Worked with reporting and database tools to create customised reports to meet customer requirements.

It is an invisible PKI credential that has already been rolled out to over 400,000 Australian business users (and growing), who use it to submit forms to government or to log in to participating agencies’ web sites. It is now being adopted across all of federal government as part of the “lead agency” program.
