Responsible for:

• Play a key role in managing and coordinating the US Embassy Project Construction in Belgrade/Serbia
• Effectively coordinating all aspects of the project in accordance with the existent baseline schedule  and manage all related updates
• Checking and approval of 3 weeks & 3 months look ahead programs
• Coordination and supervision of US and Local Sub contractors along with their respective execution schedules
• Leading the daily construction meetings, creating teams, distributing the responsibilities
• Leading & supervising of project execution phase on daily basis
• Leading the coordination meetings of civil, architectural, E&M teams in coordination with their subcontractors, finalizing coordinated shop drawings together with their material take offs
• Management and coordination of the technical office team with regard to submittal preparation, comment follow up and requisition processes
• Overall coordination between all branch offices (US – Turkey – Serbia Branch Offices)
• Attending design coordination meetings, approval of site design changes
• Management of weekly design meetings with the main designer to foresee and correct any design flaws and deficiencies
• Attending and leading internal weekly QC meetings
• Attending weekly client coordination meetings acting as a decision maker on behalf of FKE JV
• Acceptance of new subcontractors
• Acceptance of new employees
• Planning and coordinating the overall man power distribution in accordance with the base line schedule
• Checking and evaluation of vendor selection.  Carrying out final negotiation and finalization of  vendor contracts
• Approval of preliminary materials and temporary equipments
• Complete procurement procedures in accordance with the procurement plan
• Implementation of Prolog Project Management System
• Checking and approval of material purchasing in coordination with USA purchasing office
• Leading US / TURKEY offices procurement and logistic team activities
• Finalization of critical procurement items of substantial value. Final bargaining and terms agreement
• US vendor visits for long lead items under manufacturing
• Checking and pre-approval of 3 months planned budgets
• Management of overall project budget and payment schedule. Individual control of site and branch office budgets
• Preparation of contract modification and claim efforts
• Leading the close out documentation phase
• Leading handing over preparation study in coordination with US Government.
• Checking and approval of progress payments for subcontractors
• Checking US office accounting system
• Preparation and submittal of REA (Request for Equitable Adjustment), RFP (Request for Proposal) and contract based change orders
• Effective and beneficial finalization of sub-contractor claims
• Reporting of Financial cost/profit status to Management Committee
• Compilation of financial, administrative and technical data for monthly Management Committee meeting
• Creating agenda for monthly Management Committee meetings and proposing effective solutions for the agenda items.

• OCC / DCC Administrative Building,  Cleaning Trucks Building, Light Repair Workshops, General Overhaul Workshop & Lathe on Pit, Test Track, Diesel Engine Workshop Flat Wagons Siding & Material Storage Rooms, Train Washing Machine Building, Inflammable Material Storage Building, Traction Power Substation Building, Control & Security Office, Wheel Monitoring Equipment Building, Waste Stockyard, Diesel Fuel Tank, Car Parks
• Carrying out all structural & finishing activities
• Choosing Sub-Contractors - preparation of tender documents - opening and finalizing of tenders – related bill of quantities, comparison of price offers, pre-approval of subcontractors before PM approval.

• Work Schedule, analysis related with budget – cost control, subcontractors interim payment certificates, preparing variance report analysis & using this report for claiming extension of time and money, the over-all financial health of the project by working hand in hand with the Project Manager in preparing Project Budget, Disbursement Plans, Cash Flow and S-Curve analysis and implementation, assisting the PM in monitoring and controlling schedule by providing action plans to counter-measure potential delays
• Developing Master Schedule by collating and analyzing inputs from all disciplines
• Integrating the manpower & material delivery schedules into the overall working schedule
• Working hand in hand with the Project Manager in preparing Project Budget, Disbursement Plans, Cash Flow and S-Curve analysis and implementation. Making necessary calculations for cost control and budget, checking the profit status on a monthly basis
• Formulating cost coding procedures and ensures proper implementation with the accounting section. Regularly conducts “double-checking” procedures to strictly monitor inputs
• Assisting the Project Manager in monitoring and controlling schedule by providing action plans to counter-measure potential delays.
• Analyzing calculating and submitting monthly claims for every Pay Items affected by “Escalation Factor” using the method of calculation approved by the client.
• Leading technical office engineers and architects, distribute individual responsibility for Reporting system and submission, Procurement, Subcontract Orders, Payment Processing, and Cost Control & Monitoring
• Leading Quantity Surveyors, distribute individual responsibility to do the Reporting system and submission, Procurement, Subcontract Orders, Payment Processing, and Cost Control & Monitoring
• Managing daily meetings and arranging all sub-contractors’ activities on the site,
• Act as the Over-all coordinator between the client, consultants, construction team, and the trade suppliers / sub-contractors for every projects assigned.
• Representing the contractor on monthly client meetings.

• Assisting for the finalization of working schedule, checking materials take offs, planning necessary manpower analysis and integrated them into working schedule, revising schedule of works in case of major variances / non-achievement of milestones, preparation of PDM networks & defining the critical path of the project, releasing fortnightly look ahead programmes to all concerned parties, monitoring & updating progress of work, generating reports for management review
