communication, I will make sure to meet department/patient satisfaction by following the policies and apply myself to meet the vision and mission of the hospital.I studied BSc Cardiac Care technology (cardiovascular technology) 2016-2020 in Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Medical Sciences, Bangalore, India and worked last 3 years in Cath Lab.I have done 6 month Internship by the end of my course in NH Hospital, Bangalore .During the period I got training in both invasive and non invasive cardiology in supervision of cardiac technologists and cardiologists. By the end of Internship i was proficient in performing and interpretation of Echocardiography (Thoracic and Trans- esophageal), Electrocardiogram, TMT, Holter monitoring, ABPM and invasive cardiology.After internship i choose invasive cardiology and worked as a cath lab technologist in NH Hospital from 2021 onwards.My current duties includes assisting in various cathlab procedures in cardiology and interventional neuro,radiology-adult and pediatric . My responsibilities include operating C-arm and hemodynamic modalities, analysing the results , giving appropriate suggestions / views and hardware to meet the required techniques / procedure, Report preparation, data management,
In Interventional Cardiology I have done various procedures like CAG, cath study,BMV, Temporary pacemaker implantation,Mitraclip, IVC Filter implantation ,Pericardiocentesis,Device closures(ASD, VSD,PDA, Vascular plug, etc.), coronary angioplasty,Complex coronary Interventions using intra vascular lithotripsy, Rotational atherectomy, various imaging/physiology modalities,TAVI and cardiac rhythm management. I can independently handle various cardiac imaging/physiology modalities like IVUS, OCT, FFR, RFR,etc.In Cardiac Rhythm Management I have trained in 2D electrophysiology by st judes medicals - Abbott and locally trained in device interrogations and programming (Medtronic, St. Jude's, Boosten Scientific, Biotronic). I am independently assisting Interventional cardiologist /cardiac electrophysiologists in various procedures like basic EP study, Cryoablation for PVI, RF ablation for AVNRT and pathways, 3D mapping (with application specialist) for AT,AF, VT and PVI . In my current practice I have assisted various device implantations like Basic Pacemaker
implantation-Temporary and permanent pacing, Left bundle pacing, Leadless pacemaker implantation (MICRA),CRT-D implantation, ICD Implantation, and various pacing configurations, I am seeking opportunities for improvisation of my electrophysiology skills (3DElectrophysiology), learning more in pacing configurations and new techniques and hardwares in CRM .As I mentioned other than cardiology my responsibilities includes Interventional Neuro-radiology procedures. and I have been with procedures like peripheral angiograms, peripheral angioplasty,DSA,EVAR,TEVAR, Aneurysm Coiling,Embolizations (coil, glue, particles , etc). During my 3 years of experience and my student period I have gained a good skill in Information Technology.I am familiar with the usage of IT applications like Microsoft office, word, excel,etc.
After completion of 3 years experience now I have got promotion as a cathlab manager (incharge) from October 2023 onwards. As a manager I have the ability to take care of a big cathlab technologist team and also take care of their duty ROTA. I used to arrange training programmes regarding cathlab procedures and equipments like ROTA, IVUS, OCT, FFR,IVL, etc for my cathlab technical team.After becoming an incharge my responsibilities got increased and it helped me a lot to face every complex situation and also assisting my technical team in life threatening emergency cases.I have developed an excellent communication skill at all levels internal and external to the department.I am able to act on my own initiative and work independently with consideration to the team work efficiently. In every complex situation I'll be self motivated and I am able to motivate others in my cathlab technical team.As a team leader I will always give priority to patients first and because of a team work each staff member including me will be improving always and giving a better patient care and making our cathlab best.Once a patient reached inside cathlab I will try to make the patient comfortable with a proper communication in their own language and try to give an excellent hospitality by making the patient comfortable and stress free which will give best results in any test performed.I have also got an opportunity to work in the COVID pandemic where most of the health workers were afraid to work . Moreover, I would like to work in the Health care sector to care for the patients when they are in need . I am proud to work in the NHS because it was my dream to work in a highly developed qualified Health system. I do have excellent typing, organizational and communication skills, willingness to learn and undertake new skills. I have a flexible and professional approach to the work and enjoy the variety of communicating with a wide range of people both internal and external to the Trust.
