Qualifications and Skills:

• Looking after overall BSS Operations.
• Vendor performance and KPI calculations.
• Major Responsibility to manage, supervise and follow up with the sub-regional grid leads to minimize the MTTR i.e. Mean Time to Repair the fault. Issue rectification must be within the well-defined timelines as per the company set standards.
• Responsible to meet the regional major KPIs for 2G, 3G & 4G network including BTSA and service availability.
• Responsible for end to end alarms rectification progress reports. EAS rectification as well as the hardware (BSS) alarms contribution minimization.
• To work with BSS counterpart to enhance the regional traffic channel availability targets. To follow up the low TCHA cases as well as low efficient cells to get the count as minimum as possible.
• To perform the network audits in order to check and evaluate the regional vendor performance including the Non-Telco maintenance service providers.
• To allocate the clear and transparent KPIs to regional field teams on monthly basis and to evaluate on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
• Responsible for the in time execution of quality PATs to get the new site on-air.
• Responsible to supervise the midrange operations staff for end to end, day to day operational activities of midrange operations.
• Responsible for the network analysis on basis of root cause analysis and fault descriptions.
• Responsible to work on the TCHA improvement plan and to get myself align with vendors and field staff to minimize the most occurrence cases. To identify the hardware faults, to identify the R&R loop holes, to identify the fault and issue at grass root level & to take up all this with concerned teams to ensure least re-occurrence.
• Determines cause of faults on sites and to resolve them under the guidance of 2nd and 3rd level support staff members and/or vendor.
• Assists the staff in solving the operational processes related issues.
• Prepare the staff schedule for holidays, vacations and operational procedures, or other duties and project assigned.
• Responsible to provide all the weekly, monthly reports as per requirements.
• Responsible for evaluation of monthly KPIs for Telco (Managed services) and Non-Telco maintenance vendors under the agreed SLA.
