Our latest client is a contract research orientated organisation within the veterinary domain primarily involved in the testing and clinical trials of veterinary health products.

The most recent expansion has been to Morocco. The brand-new plant is in Mohammédia a port city, on the west coast lying between Casablanca and Rabat

With the build-up of business and a corporate plan to expand operations in the region we are seeking to recruit a highly-experienced Site Director.  This position would begin as soon as possible.

Job Package

  •  Equivalent £100k-£150k per annum in local currency.


Job Description

  • Provide strategic input toward establishing and improving policies and procedures within the organisation.
  • Continue to support and develop customer relationships and retention, to maintain and maximise the company’s growth and success.
  • Oversee the quality assurance, general operations, performance, and efficiency by co-ordinating the workings of several departments.
  • Monitoring the efficiency of several support services such as finance, HR etc. (this is roughly 30 employees).
  • Be focused and attentive on establishing a positive company culture that promotes your employee’s well-being, through various methods including mentoring, training, and development.
  • Overall endorsing a ‘culture of excellence’ and delivering quality at the first try through a performance driven environment.


Candidate Requirements

  • Hold a Masters or PhD degree.
  • Approx. 8-10 years’ experience; with at least 5 years in a Clinical Research Environment.
  • Record of accomplishment in people and change management.
  • Risk management success.
  • Fluent in English and French. (Arabic would be beneficial).
  • Extensive knowledge of good clinical practice/good laboratory practice (GCP/GLP) and International Organisation of Standardisation (ISO) Standards.
  • Knowledge of AAALAC (Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care) accreditation standards and European regulatory requirements for the Protection of animals used for scientific purposes (Directive 2010/63/EU).
  • Understanding and appreciation of business, project management principles, along with operations management.
