I possess more than 17 years of professional experience including 7 years in the public sector and around 8 years in an intergovernmental regional organization. Parallel to that through my career path, I have been involved in several consulting activities and private consultancy firms supporting national, regional and international initiatives and activities such as developing several reports, policy papers and facts sheets for Nile Basin Initiative/Nile Basin Discourse.
My areas of expertise involve coordination of international agreements and conventions concerning environmental protection and sustainable development, as well as management, monitoring and evaluation of donor-funded programmes and projects in the fields of climate change, disaster risk reduction and management, environmental governance and policy planning. I have also fieldwork experience in Egypt, Ghana, Libya, and Yemen.
